Privacy Policy

Account data. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google. We do not receive or store your Google password.

Test activity. When you attempt a mock test we store your answers, score, time taken and which questions you bookmarked, so we can show you solutions and a performance report.

Usage data. We use Google Analytics 4, which records pages visited, approximate location (country/region level), device type and browser. This is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.

Messages you send us. If you use the contact form we keep the name, email address, phone number and message you provide, so we can reply.

To run your account and keep you signed in; to save and display your test results, bookmarks and performance analysis; to reply to your support messages; to understand which parts of the site are used so we can improve them; and to detect abuse or technical errors.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not give your name, email address or test results to advertisers. We do show ads on some pages; what that involves is set out under Advertising below.

We share data only with service providers who help us operate the site: Google (sign-in, analytics and advertising), our hosting and database providers, and our email provider. Each processes data on our instructions only.

We may also disclose data if we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to protect the rights and safety of our users.

We use cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your language preference, and hold your in-progress test answers. Google Analytics sets its own cookies to measure usage, and our advertising partners set cookies of their own, which is covered under Advertising below. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; if you block essential cookies, sign-in and test progress will not work.

Every test on Mock Center is free, and advertising is what pays for it: the servers, the question bank and the work that goes into keeping both current. We use Google AdSense to serve those ads.

Google and other advertising vendors use cookies to choose which ads you see, based on your earlier visits to this site and to other websites. What Google collects and how it uses that information is set out on its advertising policies page.

If you would rather not see personalised ads, you can turn them off in your Google Ad Settings. You will still see ads; they will simply be less relevant. To opt out of other advertising vendors as well, use optout.aboutads.info.

Advertisers do not receive your name, email address or test scores. Nothing from your Mock Center account is passed to them.

Account and test-attempt data is kept for as long as your account exists. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain it. Contact-form messages are kept for up to 24 months. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' default retention period.

You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw consent for analytics at any time. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may also nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf, and you may raise a grievance with us before approaching the Data Protection Board.

To make any of these requests, use the contact form and tell us which account the request relates to. We respond within 30 days.

Mock Center is intended for candidates preparing for government recruitment examinations, who are generally 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed credentials and access controls on our databases. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and tell us immediately if you think your account has been accessed by someone else.

If we make a material change we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change significantly affects you, notify you by email. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
