Typing test instructions

1. 1

   The 5-minute timer begins when you press Begin Typing Test.

2. 2

   Type the displayed passage in order. Match capital letters, punctuation, spaces, and the blank line between paragraphs.

3. 3

   Use your English keyboard. The typing box will be focused automatically when the test begins.

4. 4

   Use Backspace to correct mistakes. Copy-paste and dropping text into the box are disabled.

5. 5

   The test submits automatically when time runs out. Press Submit Test to finish earlier.

6. 6

   Your result shows speed, accuracy, and mistakes. The remaining untyped end of the passage is not counted as an error.
